Whether you love to listen to music, watch movies, play games, or use your computer as a phone, computer headphones are a must have item.
These Wireless Computer Headphones are a definite BUY....the Sennheiser RS120 926 MHz Wireless RF Headphones with Charging Cradle Sony MDR-IF240RK Wireless Headphone System ...
Great for Kids or to keep the spouse happy!
Well... I have to say that I was really surprised to find such quality
at such a low price. Infrared transmitter works well in line of sight or in the same small room (tested to 15 feet at least) without sound dropouts with headturns. Light weight but good enough, and portable enough for hotel or travel. Sound is not audiophile, but great for
late night TV viewing...and even better for my 6 year old nephew to use without tearing out my insane audiophile gear monster racks. So for Spongebob or better, it is great. I do have an IR dolby 5.1 expensive Japanese version from a few years back, but it was $500, heavy...not too comfortable, and it sits in the garage!
Do not bother with any of the RF wireless headphones since they will be prone to interference...not with IR (limited range, line of sight...but with a TV or Computer who cares). I am sure that there are Audiophiles who will hate this, but at this price...who cares. BTW it does have both a mini-jack input for an ipod or other device and Lt/Rt standard RCA jack inputs which are almost everywhere. The Walwart transformer is smallish. The headphones are lightweight and fairly comfortable. They are cheap plastic and the kids may break them (consider wrapping some of the
critical heaphone plastic in Saran-wrap with small strips of small bubble-wrap with cut-outs to protect against drops...I will). It takes a standard AAA battery and comes with a rechargeable AAA NiMH battery which has some easily copyed small squares of plastic to prevent dislodgement. You can easily use another AAA rechargable NiMH of your choice (Eneloop, high mAH level) even though they warm you not too.
Caution****DO NOT use anything other than a AAA NiMH ****in the Wireless Headphone self-charger....even though it is a "trickle" charger your do not want a melt-down nor fire (so be careful with the kids...you may want to use that Saran-wrap idea to prevent them from putting in an Alkaline battery which may EXPLODE if charged!).
I read all the
previously written reviews about this particular wireless headphone. I also compared those reviews to reviews written about other wireless headphones. Then I went ahead and bought the Wireless Headphones and have been very pleased with it. The previous reveiws were very helpful to me becasue they informed me of what to expect from these Wireless Headphones so when I purchased them and used them there were no surprises.
The sound is excellent. The ease of not having a wire attached to them is wonderful. I was able to get up and walk around the room and didn't loose the sound. It is so convienent to sit them back on the cradle where they recharge. I would definetly buy this model of wireless headphones again.
They have met my expectations.
